Eventually I came to consciously realize what I already knew. That is, I am always connected. The goddess/god has never left my heart. s/He has always walked with me, not through a book as the bible or through a preacher, minister, or priest but as a constant companion, friend, mentor, and supporter that I have always known intimately because S/He has always been there. Never attended church. Never study the bible. But I know Jesus, Mother Mary, Buddha, Kwan Yin, Gaia, and my guides and angels; many more are always with me, talking to and supporting me in everything I am.
Sometimes, I need outside help to clear away the static through energy work or talking. Other times I would need to cry, dance, laugh, or get up to move around. But they are always there, with me, waiting for my focus and consciousness to recognize, accept, and receive their presence.
So remember you are always connected; it is just that the tunnel vision we get can get murky and needs a little rattling every now and then.
